"Fleur has been tutoring my nine-year-old daughter for the
Eleven Plus exam that she is due to sit this year.
My daughter loves her and looks forward to her session every week.
She is completely engaged and starts her homework the moment she is able.
Fleur has also provided us with a wealth of knowledge of the
Eleven Plus process and exams which has been extremely useful.
Fleur conducts regular assessments and provides us with
regular updates of progress which is extremely helpful
as we prepare our daughter for these tricky exams."
Mrs. Emmaline Lawson, Bromsgrove,
March 2020.
"Pleased to tell you Tracy that my daughter achieved
a massive B in her A-level Spanish.
We are all overwhelmed - she has surpassed what
we expected, particularly in Spanish.
She has been accepted to study Politics and Spanish
at Bath University - her preferred choice.
She is so grateful for all your input - you gave her
that enthusiasm and confidence to succeed."
Mr. Kevin Reekie, Streetly,
August 2018.
"Fleur helps me understand what the questions are asking me
and how to approach them; she explains things so that it makes sense
and lets me do it until I get it right on my own. The session goes by so quickly."
Oliver, Year Six Key Stage Two SATs candidate,
February 2020.
"I like how she tries to turn things into a game but I am still learning,
it is so much fun. Fleur lets me pick between different work and sets me
lots of fun homework to do. I like the challenges we cover
and would like longer sessions with her.
Bella, Year Five Eleven Plus candidate,
February 2020.
"After hearing that it was unlikely that my ten-year-old son
would hit the expected mark for his upcoming Key Stage Two SATs,
we decided to look around for a tutor to provide some additional support.
Fleur really stood out for us as she took the time to really get to know
and understand my son's individual learning needs.
He was very reluctant at first but after his first session he was sold;
Fleur is patient and encouraging and as a result he has gained
so much confidence to the point that his teachers have
remarked on this. Fleur takes the time to provide feedback after
every session and sets fun, engaging homework to ensure understanding."
Mrs. Emmaline Lawson, Bromsgrove,
January 2020.
"Very pleased with our son's 6 for French.
He's off to Bishop Vesey's [Grammar School]
for sixth form. Thank you
for all the help you gave him."
Mrs. Debbie Casey, Sutton Coldfield,
August 2018.
"Tracy tutored all three of my children. Despite having different learning styles and levels of ability, Tracy adapted her teaching style to take account of all their needs and in doing so they were all successful in achieving French and English G.C.S.E.s to a high standard.
Tracy has a bubbly personality and is very enthusiastic. This, together with how well my children had done, inspired me to learn Spanish with her. After one-hour weekly lessons for approximately six months, I was confident enough to speak Spanish (and be understood) whilst on holiday in Barcelona."
Mrs. Anne Shaw, Aldridge,
September 2016.
"Tracy tutored my son who had been predicted an E in his G.C.S.E. French.
Tracy was very professional and very easy to get on with. She was honest,
polite, organised, and prompt at all times. Tracy has a very happy and enthusiastic nature, which shines through in every aspect. She has the ability of making learning interesting and fun. Through hard work and commitment Tracy got to know
my son on a personal level, identified how he worked best and his individual
learning style. Even his teacher at his school had noticed a vast improvement.
My son came to enjoy and look forward to his French sessions with Tracy.
I am happy to say that he achieved a C in the summer exams.
Throughout the whole process Tracy involved us as parents; we knew at all times
what they were doing and achieving. We had the pleasure of finding a tutor
who was passionate about her work and her pupils, but we also had
the pleasure of meeting a wonderful lady."
Mrs. Eileen Salt, West Bromwich,
February 2012.
"I was introduced to Tracy by a very close family friend and she was engaged
to tutor my daughter twice a week for the three months prior to her exam
after she achieved an E grade in her mock. I have to say that Tracy was unbelievable - she had a fantastic knowledge of the Spanish language and taught my daughter
many of the essential nuances. She did this through tutoring in a modern and
appropriate manner for a sixteen-year-old and in many respects she actually
turned the experience from a chore to fun. Furthermore Tracy raised my
daughter's confidence and helped tremendously with her examination technique.
At all times Tracy was flexible in fitting in around our hectic family; she was
polite, professional, and wonderfully cheerful. I am delighted to say that my daughter achieved a B in her G.C.S.E. I attribute a great deal of this to the training that she received from Tracy. I would have no hesitation in recommending Tracy for any tutoring work."
Mr. Richard Ash, Sutton Coldfield,
October 2008.
